Analysis of both video footage and still imagery, classifying habitat types, benthic cover (down to species or genus group as appropriate, image quality depending), and fish diversity. This work can be key for habitat assessments or restoration efforts. This service also extends to Quality Control protocols, where I review and assess imagery already analysed by third parties. I also offer data storage protocol development and project goal focusing guidance to advise you of the most appropriate level of detail needed to achieve goals. This can help to reduce analysis time frames and deliver results even when working against tight deadlines. I have over twenty years of Caribbean marine species identification, and also offer courses on developing identification skills, which gives clients an increased ability to conduct future work in-house.
